Today (06-10-2023), a delegation from Bhutan paid an officials visit to the DC Office, Barpeta and engaged in a productive meeting with the District Administration of Barpeta. Shri Aayush Garg, IAS, the District Commissioner of Barpeta, extended a cordial welcome to the delegation. Notably, representatives from the World Bank and other officers of the District Administration in Barpeta were also present during this significant gathering. The primary focus of this visit revolved around the exchange of knowledge and experiences pertaining to the Brahmaputra and Jamuna river basin.
